CalStateTEACH Receives Full Accreditation
All Common and Program Standards Met
The Systemwide Director of the CalStateTEACH Multiple Subject Credential Program is pleased to announce the state finding of Full Program Accreditation, with all standards met fully, and no stipulations or concerns. On October 27, 2011, the Committee on Accreditation accepted the recommendation of the Bureau of Institutional Reviewers. The Program was deemed exemplary and commended for its mentoring of candidates and the organization of the accreditation website and site visit.
"I want to thank our Regional Directors, faculty, staff, candidates, graduates and school partners for their contributions and support," said CalStateTEACH Systemwide Director Dr. Sharon Russell. "We look forward to continuing our work in schools and communities across the state of California."
Since 1999, CalStateTEACH has provided a quality teacher preparation program accessible to every region of California. In the next decade, our new Mobile Learning Initiative will contribute to the expansion of access to teacher preparation and to diminishing the Digital Divide in public schools.
