Program Literacy Introduction:
The CalStateTEACH Multiple Subject Credential Program is a flexible, primarily online initiative designed for individuals seeking to become elementary school teachers in California. Unlike traditional programs, CalStateTEACH features a curriculum with no conventional courses. Instead, it consists of 14 online modules that span three terms (semesters), through which student teachers, interns, and residents find and engage with their coursework. Administered by the California State University system, the program accommodates various schedules, making it suitable for those who may already be working or have other commitments. Notably, Teaching Performance Expectation (TPE) 7 is introduced, practiced, and assessed throughout the entire framework, with a hyper focus found in Modules 7 and Module 10.
